Kevin Goddess is an abstract painter with a nod to the modernist movement, and he seeks to create a personal visual language that expresses and reflects the world around us. Inspired by nature and the modern urban landscape, his work is both architectural and organic. He fills the canvas with geometric shapes and organic forms, which seem both solid and light. His compositions are arrived at through a process of intuitive improvision.

As a drummer, Kevin's rhythmic instincts inform his work, incorporating energetic, textural strokes of acrylic paint. Backgrounds are sometimes scraped and scratched, and often filed with repetitive marks and lines.
